Villarreal midfielder Hector Font has signed a new deal at El Madrigal.The 21-year-old has inked a four-year deal to keep him at the club until 2009.
Font played an instrumental role in Villarreal's success last season helping them to finish third in La Liga and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Yellow Submarines boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen to keep hold of his squad as they prepare to build on their success of last term.
"With this new deal we are confirming the idea to keep the best players for next season," said a club spokesman.
