Trap looks at new faces

GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI has named an experimental squad for Italy`s friendly with Switzerland.

Injuries have kept out Francesco Totti, Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi, while Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero has been allowed to take a break.

This has allowed Trapattoni to look at other options, with Perugia's Fabio Grosso the most notable inclusion.

Only four players, Gianluigi Buffon, Francesco Toldo, Massimo Ambrosini and Marco Di Vaio have been called up from the three Italian teams playing in the Champions League semi-finals - Milan, Juventus and Internazionale.

Squad: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Francesco Toldo (Inter); Daniele Bonera (Parma), Giuseppe Favalli (Lazio), Matteo Ferrari (Parma), Fabio Grosso (Perugia), Nicola Legrottaglie (Chievo), Massimo Oddo (Lazio), Christian Panucci (Roma); Massimo Ambrosini (Milan), Stefano Fiore (Lazio), Carlo Nervo (Bologna), Simone Perrotta (Chievo), Damiano Tommasi (Roma), Cristiano Zanetti (Inter); Bernardo Corradi (Lazio), Antonio Di Natale (Empoli), Fabrizio Miccoli (Perugia), Marco Di Vaio (Juventus).
