INGESSON UNHAPPY AT LAZIO DEFEAT

LECCE'S Klas Ingesson was furious with the referee as his side crashed 3-2 at Lazio in Sunday's Serie A programme.

Ingesson complained that Lecce should have had a penalty in the closing moments of the game.

Speaking to Swedish daily Sportbladet, Ingesson said: "He (the referee) put the whistle in his mouth, then he remembered that it was Lazio we were facing.

"I stood ten metres away and shouted.  The referee was even closer, but unfortunantly, it's hard for the minnows here to get a penalty versus a side like Lazio.

"Especially if it is the final minutes and the big side is at risk of losing points.

"It feels real tough that we were denied the chance to take a point, because that is what we were worth."
