Oddo saga set to end

Lazio have admitted for the first time that Massimo Oddo is on his way to Milan.

Lazio have admitted for the first time that Massimo Oddo is on his way to Milan.

The Italian international has been tracked by Milan for some time but finally he looks set to get his wish and seal a switch to Giuseppe Meazza.

Lazio's lawyer Gianmichele Gentile confirmed that they were not in a position to keep Oddo any longer.

"We are sorry Oddo leaves, but we can't keep anyone under arrest at the club," Gentile told Radio Incontro.

Milan face Lazio on Sunday and Gentile feels that the situation will be resolved soon after.

"You will see the day after the match with Milan," he said.

"We cannot attack a person because he wants to make an important move, he has been sincere in his declarations - but it is important the parts involved won't lose.

"Lazio have given a lot to Oddo, but Oddo has also given a lot to Lazio."

Reports suggests that Milan will pay £5.5million plus hand Lazio co-ownership of Pasquale Foggia - who is already on loan at the Stadio Olimpico.
