JOSE MARI IN SPANISH RETURN?

SPANISH striker Jose Mari is set to leave AC Milan to sign a deal with Sevilla, who have already confirmed their promotion from the Segunda Liga.

The Italian giants are interested in building a good relationship with the Seville-based side, because they are generally accepted to have the best youth teams in Europe.

A lot of Spain's rising stars have played for Sevilla's youth teams and it was where Jose Mari started his career.

Milan are also interested in Sevilla star, Nicolas Oliveira, and Jose Mari's move to Spain could help the Serie A side in their bid to get the skillful striker.

However, a potential thorn in the deal is Jose Mari's salary - around £1 million a season, which Sevilla are unwilling to pay.

Oliveira is valued at around £7 million by Sevilla and Milan could be willing to do business at that price.

Meanwhile Filippo Inzaghi's agent Tullio Tinti has revealed to press agency ANSA that the player will only be given a few chances to play in a Rossoneri shirt next season.

The Rossoneri are also thinking about taking a look at Luca Saudati, who has been loaned to Perugia for this season - the striker is set to be sold to Torino.
