Torino chase Ternana duo

TORINO are preparing a double swoop on Serie B outfit Ternana as they start their squad-strengthening programme for next season.

With mid-table security assured, Toro are weighing up potential new arrivals with Ternana duo Fabrizio Miccoli and Stefano Lucchini their targets.

Midfielder Miccoli has spent four seasons with Ternana and has been a virtual ever-present in the team.

If Torino can persuade Ternana to part company with Miccoli, they are prepared to offer Franco Semioli, who is at the Serie B side on a temporary basis, in exchange.

Central defender Lucchini may prove a tougher target to land as Udinese are also keen on the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, Christian Bucchi, who is on loan at Ternana from Perugia, is set for a leading role in Serie A next season.

Perugia want Bucchi back at Renato Curi to replace Greek striker Zizis Vryzas (pictured) who is tipped to leave the club in the summer.
