Swedish starlet Henok Goitom was delighted to mark his Udinese debut with a last minute equaliser against Internazionale.The young forward was signed by the Italian club on a three-year contract in 2003, after Udinese beat Southampton to his signature.
Goitom has waited patiently to break into the first team set-up and took his chance in no uncertain terms on Saturday.
With Udinese trailing at home to Inter, Goitom snatched a dramatic late leveller, much to the 20-year-old's delight.
"I am tremendously happy," Goitom told Sportbladet.
"I have got to start on the bench before and it was an important clash against Inter, therefore I didn't think I would get the chance this time either.
"But then suddenly the coach told me to get ready. I wasn't nervous, just happy to get the chance.
"Everyone is happy for my sake, to get to score on my debut. It was a very important point which feels particularly good."
