Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is hoping to win a move to PSV Eindhoven.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Treviso from Udinese, but has failed to make any sort of impression and fancies a change of scenery.

PSV boss Guus Hiddink is prepared to give the youngster a chance and Handanovic is eager to take his opportunity.

"Something is going on and I could be on my way to Eindhoven," said Handanovic. "It would be a big step in my career."

Handanovic has a release clause of ‚é¼2 million (£1.4 million), but it could be that PSV will look to push through a loan deal before making a firm decision in the summer.

The youngster has impressed at Under-21 level and is reportedly seen as the ideal replacement for Edwin Zoetebier who is expected to move on from PSV at the end of the season.
