Cordova delight at Livorno switch

Chilean Nicolas Cordova has joined Livorno and is delighted he has another crack at trying his hand at Serie A football.

The South American, formerly of Perugia, is eager to put his disappointing form as a youngster in Italy firmly behind him.

"I am very happy to return to Serie A. It is something that I owe to myself because when I arrived in Italy I was too young," said Livorno.

"Now it's different, I have played more than 100 games and scored more than 25 goals.

"I know Livorno are a small team but this is a great personal chance because I will play against teams like Inter, Juventus and Milan."
