Tare set to stay at Brescia

IGLI TARE is set to stay at Brescia despite being linked with a move to Serie A new boys Siena.

The Albanian international has attracted the interest of Siena and a number of unnamed Premiership sides, but the player's agent Andrea Pretti believes that the player will stay at Brescia.

The departure of Luca Toni frees a place for Tare and Pretti believes that Brescia are keen to keep hold of Tare.

"I can definitely say that Siena are interested in the player," Pretti told Planetfootball.com. "From England there were rumours about possible interest, but a very defined poll I personally made to verify the reality of a certain situation, haven't given good results",

"Anyway I can say that Brescia, having sold Luca Toni, won't deprive themselves so easily of Tare I know.

"If there would be particular and favourable economic and technical conditions I think Brescia could consider the possibility of a sale.

"If not Tare stays where he is."

Meanwhile, Siena have signed Argentine defender Carlos Andres Arano from Racing Club.

Both sides have finally reached an agreement for the 23-year-old's signature after protracted discussions.

Siena are also hoping to sign Brazilian midfielder Fernando Menegazzo from Juventude, but again they are finding it difficult to agree a deal.
