Kaiserslautern bounced back from their embarrassing Uefa Cup exit to FK Teplice in midweek with a convincing 4-0 win over Hamburg.

Former Manchester City defender Lucien Mettomo sent the hosts on their way with the opener after 37 minutes.

German international Miroslav Klose doubled the lead converting from the penalty spot on 62 minutes.

Christian Timm made the game safe with the third after 74 minutes and Klose made it four with his second goal just a minute later.

Bochum climbed up to sixth spot with an impressive 2-0 victory at Schalke.

Frank Fahrenhorst opened the scoring for the visitors after 65 minutes and Mamadou-Lamine Diabang put the game beyond Schalke with the second 13 minutes later.
