Torsten Frings has advised Miroslav Klose to stay at Werder Bremen.
German international Torsten Frings has advised Werder Bremen team-mate Miroslav Klose to shun offers from abroad in order to stay at the Weserstadion.
Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard recently claimed that Klose would be a target for most of Europe's top clubs, but according to Frings, the former Kaiserslautern star should stay with Bremen.
Ç£At Bremen he has everything he needs to play top football and earns good money. He is the king here and who knows if he would feel as well somewhere else?Ç¥ Frings told Sportbild.
Frings himself once left Werder for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, but returned to the Weserstadion, despite being first choice in Munich as he preferred the calmer, family-like atmosphere in Bremen.
Ç£To me my personal well-being matters more than money and Miro should think very well if he really wants to leave Werder,Ç¥ Frings added.
Klose is tied to Bremen until 2008, but although the club are desperate to keep him, he has so far refused to sign a new deal, fueling rumors that he has his eyes a move abroad.
The leading scorer of the 2006 World Cup has recently stressed that England and Spain would be favorable destinations for him and clubs from La Liga and the Premiership might be ready to prise him away from Bremen.
