ANTONIO TO FIND SALVATION AT ROSTOCK

BAYERN MUNICH forward Antonio di Salvo looks set to bid farewell to the Olympic Stadium and join Hansa Rostock.

The 22-year-old Italian joined the Bavarian giants from SC Paderborn in 1999 but has made just six first-team appearances.

"We have reached an agreement with Bayern. The striker will have a medical on Tuesday and after the formalities have been sorted out he will be our player," explained Hansa spokesman Axel Schulz.

The East German side see di Salvo as an apt replacement for Nigerian target-man Victor Agali who joined Schalke in a £3.3 million deal.
