Sibusiso Zuma is set to miss the first six weeks of the season with Arminia Bielefeld.
Bundesliga minnows Arminia Bielefeld have suffered a setback in their pre-season preparation with the news that South African international Sibusiso Zuma will be sidelined for the new six weeks. The tricky striker, who has made a strong impact at the Schuco-Arena since joining the club from FC Copenhagen, had to be replaced in last week's friendly against Greek outfit Olympiakos after picking up a knee injury.
Scans have revealed torn ligaments in his knee and the striker has been informed he will be out of action until well into September.
The news comes as a serious blow to coach Thomas Von Heesen, who has lost Ghana international Isaac Boakye to Wolfsburg this summer, while new arrival Christian Eigler is still suffering from hip problems.
