PSV Eindhoven have been handed a fillip, with Jefferson Farfan returning to training with the Dutch champions. The fleet-footed striker suffered a concussion following a collision with team-mate Patrick Kluivert on September 17 and his rate of recovery was slow.
PSV's medical team did not want to take any chances with a head injury and it was only on Monday that Farfan was allowed to return to training.
Michael Lamey was also a welcome face at training, as he is fit again following a hamstring strain and could feature against Roda JC at the weekend.
