Feyenoord have agreed terms with Belgian teenager Timothy Derijck.

The 17-year-old central defender has been lured away from Anderlecht, although Feyenoord are yet to agree a compensation package with their Belgian counterparts.

Anderlecht are demanding a substantial fee for the player's youth development costs.

Feyenoord expect to push through a deal in the near future and are hopeful he will be available for pre-season training with Erwin Koeman's side.

The Rotterdam club are hoping to secure a double Belgian raid, with Timmy Simons said to be on the cusp of a move to De Kuip.

Simons is reportedly keen to make the move, but Club Brugge are determined to secure a sizeable fee for the international midfielder.
