Eredivisie Round-Up

Heerenveen came from a goal down to defeat Vitesse Arnhem 3-1 on Saturday.

Heerenveen moved up to fifth in the table after coming from a goal down to win 3-1 at Vitesse Arnhem.

It was the home side that took a 1-0 lead into the half time break after Matthew Amoah scored on 20 minutes for Vitesse.

The second half, however, belonged to Heerenveen after the visitors drew level on 67 minutes through Georgios Samaras.

Holland international Ugur Yildirim (pictured) gave Heerenveen the lead four minutes later and Lars Nilsson capped a fine win on their travels with four minutes left.

A hat-trick from Jason Oost gave RKC Waalwijk a 4-2 victory at relegation-threatened De Graafschap.

Jasar Takak also got on the scoresheet for the visitors while De Graafschap had Jhon van Beukering score a penalty in the first half and Reinier Robbemond strike in the second half in a losing effort, as the hosts edge closer to the drop.

Finally, RBC Roosendaal boosted their hopes of getting out of the bottom three with a 2-0 home win over fellow strugglers ADO Den Haag.

First half strikes from Danny Guyt and former Tranmere Rovers man Tyrone Loran gave RBC an important win on Saturday evening.
