Eredivisie round-up

RKC Waalwijk lost ground on Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar after losing at ADO Den Haag.

RKC Waalwijk lost ground on Eredivisie pacesetters Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar after slipping to defeat at ADO Den Haag.

ADO were out of the traps quickly and edged ahead on seven minutes through Geert Den Ouden.

RKC pulled level six minutes before the break through Hans van de Haar and looked to be finding the form that has seen them win five of their previous six games.

However, Roy Stroeve (pictured) moved the hosts back in front on 57 minutes and it was a lead ADO were never to relinquish.

Roda claimed a much-needed win - only their second of the season - with a 3-2 home triumph over Vitesse Arnhem.

Ger Senden and Sergio both struck within three minutes shortly before the interval to put Roda in control, but Vitesse got a foothold three minutes after the interval through Theo Janssen.

Fred Benson then drew the visitors level on 68 minutes only for Andres Oper to nick what proved to be the winner for Roda five minutes later.
