Team news for Thursday's League Two clash between AFC Wimbledon and Southend at Kingsmeadow.

AFC Wimbledon captain Alan Bennett could return for the Boxing Day visit of Southend. Defender Bennett was due to have a fitness test on his injured ankle ahead of Saturday's clash with Newport, but the match was postponed due to the weather giving him a few extra days to get fully fit. Midfielder Harry Pell will miss out again with a knee injury but Sammy Moore is set to step into the centre after serving a one-match ban. Defender Will Antwi (hip) and winger Chris Arthur (ankle) are back in training and could return in January while striker Charlie Strutton is recovering from a broken leg. Luke Prosser is a concern for Southend's trip to AFC Wimbledon. The centre-back, having made a superb double goal-line clearance, was forced off at half-time in Friday night's 1-1 draw against Rochdale after sustaining a bout of concussion. Should Prosser be deemed not ready to face the Dons then Mark Phillips, who came on in his place at the interval, is likely to start. Long-term absentee Julian Bennett remains the only other player in the treatment room as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
