Trotters looking for first Group F win

Bolton will be looking to consolidate their place in Uefa Cup Group F against Aris Salonika on Thursday evening. Although Gary Megson's side have drawn two of their group games to date, their last outing was an impressive 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich. Thursday's clash will be Bolton's first at home in the group stage, although it is unlikely to be a walk in the park after Aris demolished Crevena Zvezda 3-0 earlier this month. Megson has no fresh injury worries to contend with following last weekend's stunning victory over champions Manchester United at The Reebok.

      Fringe

With a number of fringe players waiting in the wings for Megson, the ex-Leicester man may well opt to freshen his side against the Greek outfit, who are managed by Dusan Bajevic. The likes of Gavin McCann and Christian Wilhelmsson could well be given the nod after featuring off the bench against The Red Devils. Jussi Jaaskelainen is expected to retain his place in goal despite talk Ali Al-Habsi could become Megson's regular in the competition. Aris will need to reverse a two-game losing run on English soil, having lost their last two trips to England to Chelsea and Ipswich respectively. Bajevic, like Megson, has relatively few injuries to worry about in selecting his 20 players for the trip to Bolton. However, he will be without Anderson Costa after his contract with the club was terminated earlier this week.
