Burton to continue upfront for Addicks

Deon Burton will continue to lead the line for Charlton when Huddersfield arrive at The Valley. The striker has been struggling with a hernia problem which will eventually require surgery, but playing does not make the condition any worse. Midfielder Jose Semedo is fit after the pelvic injury which has kept him out for five games and should be involved, while defender Sam Sodje is back from international duty with Nigeria. Winger Lloyd Sam (groin) and full-back Frazer Richardson (hamstring) shrugged off knocks to play against Oldham last weekend and came through unscathed so midfielder Dean Sinclair (knee) is the only definite absentee. Former Coventry forward Leon McKenzie impressed on his debut from the bench last week following a groin injury, but he will be among the subs again.

Terriers news

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark faces another selection headache ahead of the game. Versatile midfielder Tom Clarke (knee), defender Chris Lucketti (calf) and striker Robbie Simpson (thigh) are the only first-team players unavailable as the Terriers chase successive league wins for the first time since early September. Clark's side clinched their first win in six League One games last week and there are unlikely to be too many changes at The Valley. The Terriers manager must decide who will partner leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes, with Lee Novak handed a rare start against Exeter, while Theo Robinson is hoping for a recall. James Berrett is also pushing for a return following international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s and Danny Drinkwater and Lionel Ainsworth, both substitutes last weekend, will also be in contention to start.
