Addicks top scorer expected to be fit to face league leaders

Top scorer Deon Burton could return to the Charlton squad for the visit of Norwich. The 13-goal striker has been sidelined since late last month with a knee injury but boss Phil Parkinson expects him to be fit to face the leaders. But defender Sam Sodje is doubtful due to a swollen knee so Miguel Llera is in line for a recall. Goalkeeper Rob Elliot is fit after a groin injury but Darren Randolph is expected to keep the gloves this weekend. QPR have allowed Gary Borrowdale to extend his loan spell at The Valley until the end of the season so he will continue at left-back. Defenders Grant Basey (ankle) and Kelly Youga (knee) are out for the season and striker Leon McKenzie (thigh) is unlikely to be fit.

    Canaries news

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will monitor the fitness of midfielder Wes Hoolahan ahead of the trip. The Irishman has missed the last three games with a thigh injury although Lambert is hopeful he will return before the end of the season. But the Canaries will again be without 30-goal leading scorer Grant Holt, who completes a two-match ban. City have seen their lead at the top cut to six points with four matches left following a run of just one win in four games but Lambert played down suggestions they were feeling the pressure. Indeed, he has backed his players to produce a positive reaction to Tuesday's loss at Leyton Orient. Lambert told the club's official website: "I had a chat with the lads. Because the standard you set yourself when you fall below it, it hurts everybody and I spoke to them and they were great. They know. But everybody in the league would want to be where Norwich is."
