Orient march on at the top

Kevin Lisbie headed the winner against his former club as Leyton Orient made it five wins out of five with a 2-1 win at Colchester.

Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones palmed away Sanchez Watt's curling shot early on, but the visitors took the lead after 13 minutes when Dean Cox picked out David Mooney in the area and the Irishman controlled well before lashing home against his old club. Sam Walker denied Lisbie before Colchester equalised 10 minutes before half-time through Jabo Ibehre, who slotted low past Jones from just inside the area after Craig Eastmond had burst into the area. Orient went close early in the second half when Mooney's glancing header from Cox's cross flashed just wide, before Lisbie headed home at the far post from deep cross from Cox just after the hour. Colchester had a penalty appeal turned down late on when substitute Drey Wright went down under Scott Cuthbert's challenge in the area and although substitute Shaun Batt fired wide of an open goal late on, Orient won again.
