Highlights of Coventry’s 1-0 win over Chesterfield in Sky Bet League One.

Striker Adam Armstrong returned to scoring form as Coventry chalked up a 1-0 win over Chesterfield.

The Newcastle striker - on loan to the Sky Blues until the new year - notched his sixth of the season just four minutes after half-time.

Coventry had carved out a succession of chances in the first half but wasted most of them, and must have been worried that the visitors would do better after the break.

But Armstrong moved on to a pass from the impressive Jacob Murphy, turned and calmly stroked the ball past Tommy Lee.

Armstrong had not scored for a month but had looked in very sharp form as he and Ryan Kent posed endless problems for Dean Saunders' men.

He blasted over midway through the first half when looking set to score after wriggling free inside the area, and also put a cross behind his team-mates when City caught the visitors on the break.

Although Coventry deserved their win, Lee Burge had to make two fine saves in the second half to maintain their advantage.
