Team news for Tuesday night's Championship clash between Derby and Brighton at Pride Park.

Derby trio Shaun Barker, Paul Green and James Bailey are expected to retain their places. Barker and Green made their first starts in seven months against West Ham on Saturday evening following knee injuries, while Bailey made his first start in almost three months at Upton Park after recovering from a cracked bone in his foot and ankle ligament damage. Captain Barker was substituted after 77 minutes but midfielders Green and Bailey played throughout the 3-1 defeat. John Brayford's thigh injury is a cause for concern for manager Nigel Clough. Brayford has started the last two games after a torn thigh muscle kept him out for six matches. However, he felt discomfort in his thigh in the home defeat to Hull and came off at West Ham with 13 minutes remaining. Mark O'Brien replaced him and Green slotted in at right-back. Tamas Priskin is poised for his home debut after the on-loan Ipswich striker scored on his first start for the Rams against the Hammers. Brighton will be without Marcos Painter for the game. The left-back picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-1 victory over Coventry and will now be sidelined for two weeks. Manager Gus Poyet is also deprived of the services of Vicente Rodriguez (thigh) and Gonzalo Jara Reyes (knee). Poyet revealed the club was looking into why there had been a spate of injuries in the squad. "Marcos is a fit lad and the injuries he's had in the past are all from bad tackles or other contact injuries so we are looking for reasons behind the recent injuries," he told the club's official website. Player-assistant manager Mauricio Taricco will complete his two-game ban, Gary Dicker continues to recovery from his fractured leg, and Tommy Elphick (Achilles) is still some way short of fitness.
