Doncaster skipper James Coppinger will return to contention for the home game against Stevenage after suspension.
Coppinger has served a three-game ban following his straight red card in the recent defeat at Plymouth.
Boss Darren Ferguson could include new signing Alfie May in his squad after the striker joined for an undisclosed fee from Hythe.
Jordan Houghton is likely to resume in midfield after extending his loan spell from Chelsea, but Gary McSheffrey (groin), Mitchell Lund (kidney), Luke McCullough and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair (both knee) are still out.
Tyler Walker has handed Stevenage a boost with his return to fitness.
The on-loan Nottingham Forest forward came on as a sub during the 4-2 defeat by Colchester having been out injured since October.
Tom Conlon (knee) is therefore Boro's only long-term absentee.
The loan deals of Jack King, Harry McKirdy and Henry Cowans are due to expire but manager Darren Sarll hopes to extend them.
