Fulham hoping to inflict first defeat on Redknapp

Tottenham will look to continue their resurgence against a Fulham side that has climbed to tenth place. Fulham jumped out of the relegation zone and into the top half of the Premier League table with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle last Sunday. Roy Hodgson's men have been impressive at home all season and have only lost one out of six games at Craven Cottage. They have a game in hand on most of their rivals and another three points against Tottenham would put them in a strong position in a congested section of the table. Only Chelsea and Liverpool have conceded fewer goals in the league than Fulham and Hodgson is unlikely to tinker with his back four of Aaron Hughes, Paul Konchesky, Brede Hangeland and John Pantsil. Seol Ki-Hyeon missed the clash with Newcastle due to a knee injury and Fulham will hope he has made progress over the last few days. Midfielder Dickson Etuhu is back in training following a knee injury but may not be considered. Andy Johnson will be keen to continue his good run ahead of England's friendly against Germany next week.

Selection dilemma

Tottenham also moved out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win at Manchester City last weekend, and will feel confident they can still challenge for a European place if they maintain their momentum. Harry Redknapp's side have collected ten points from four games since his appointment, while they also progressed to the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Liverpool in midweek. Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes was stretchered off against the Reds after taking a knock to the head but should be fit to face Fulham. Redknapp made a number of changes in midweek and has a selection dilemma following the excellent performance. Fraizer Campbell and Roman Pavlyuchenko both scored twice but in-form striker Darren Bent is likely to be recalled, with Luka Modric in a supporting role. David Bentley and Ledley King are also set to come back while Benoit Assou-Ekotto is available again following a ban, but Giovani dos Santos is sidelined with an ankle injury.
