Carlos Tevez has returned to Manchester City's training base following a two-week suspension, but his future remains up in the air.
The Argentina international was ordered to stay away by the Blues following his alleged refusal to step off the bench in their UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
City revealed at the time that they were to conduct an internal investigation into his actions before making a decision on any further action.
Tevez returned to his homeland while suspended, but is now back in England and arrived at City's Carrington training complex at just after 12.10pm on Thursday.
He is still working away from the rest of the first team squad, with Roberto Mancini having put his players through their paces in a regular session at 11am.
Tevez is yet to learn what the club's plans are for him, with the Blues having announced in a statement on Wednesday that the South American does have a case to answer.
The striker has always denied claims that he refused to play and his trusted advisor Kia Joorabchain insists there has been a simple misunderstanding in the heat of battle.

He has also suggested that comments made by Tevez after the Bayern game where he was quoted as saying his 'head wasn't right to play' have been mistranslated.
City are continuing to look into the matter and have yet to state publicly what the club's official stance on the situation is.
Mancini has claimed that Tevez is 'finished' in his eyes, but it remains to be seen what action will be taken.
If City impose a punishment, Tevez will still have recourse to two appeal procedures, first to the City board, and then the Premier League.
With all the paperwork that would have to be supplied by both parties, the saga may not be concluded until December should Tevez exercise his rights.
That outcome would appear to suit both parties, with the Argentina international having expressed a desire to start afresh elsewhere.
Italian giants Juventus have already been linked with an approach in the January transfer window.
