Paul Robinson has quashed speculation he could leave Tottenham during the January transfer window.
The England international has been linked with moves away from White Hart Lane recently after being dropped for Radek Cerny.
However, while Robinson is slightly perturbed with how the whole situation has been handled, he has no plans to quit the club in search of first-team football.
Robinson has laughed off talk that he has submitted a transfer request and is focusing all his energies on winning his place back in Juande Ramos' starting XI.
"If the manager decides that if I'm not performing or I'm not up to the standard that he wants at the time, then he picks the team and you can't argue with that," he told
Sky Sports News.
"I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled let's say.
"I saw reports yesterday saying I've put in a transfer request: I've never put in a transfer request.
Working hard
"The press and media seem to be having a lot of fun and games at my expense recently and I seem to be reading stuff day in, day out. The truth of the matter is I'm getting my head down and working as hard as I possibly can to get my place back.
"I've taken a lot of criticism over the last 12 months. I think it's affected me. I think it's unfair. It times have confidence has dipped, but I'm rebuilding it again."
When asked if there is a chance he could leave during the transfer window Robinson replied: "Definitely not."
The former Leeds United man has indicated that he would review his future if he was deemed surplus to requirements at Spurs.
"If the club turn around to me and say I've got no future at the club then that's a whole different situation," he continued. "As of yet that's not the situation."
