Dundee will go to Dumbarton in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after beating Falkirk 3-1

Linlithgow Rose have become the first Junior side to reach the last-16 of the Scottish Cup after they defeated Forfar Athletic 1-0 in their fourth-round replay.

Rose, who play in the East Super League, will now face Scottish Premiership side Ross County after Kevin Kelbie scored in the 115th minute at Station Park after the match finished goalless after 90 minutes.

The first match between the sides on January 9 ended in a 3-3 draw before last week's replay was abandoned due to floodlight failure, on a night that also saw flares thrown from the Linlithgow section of the crowd.

But they made headlines for their heroics on the pitch this time and now face a trip to Dingwall.

Dundee also progressed after they defeated Scottish Championship promotion hopefuls Falkirk 3-1.

Kane Hemmings continued his impressive goalscoring run as he pounced twice to extend his recent tally to nine goals in six games with a double at Dens Park.

The fourth-round tie took place at the third attempt after a section of the Dens Park pitch was relaid following earlier postponements.

Paul Watson levelled two minutes after Hemmings' 39th-minute opener but the former Rangers striker slotted home from close range on the hour mark before setting up Gary Harkins for the third.

The Dark Blues now face a trip to Dumbarton on February 6 in the next round of the competition.
