Chelsea have the option of recalling Ake from the Cherries, who are hoping to hang on to the 21-year-old until the summer, and Sky sources understand the Blues have been in touch with Bournemouth to discuss him.

Conte admitted he is considering adding Ake to his defensive options for the rest of the season.
