Joe Gomez is a doubt for Liverpool's trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday - live on Sky Sports - due to the ankle injury he suffered on international duty.
The 20-year-old was forced off in the early stages of England's 1-0 win in Amsterdam against the Netherlands on Friday.
Gomez has been ruled out of Tuesday's friendly against Italy and returned to Liverpool for treatment.
The extent of his injury is yet to be determined and no time-frame has been given for his return.
Gomez has made 29 appearances this season for Jurgen Klopp's side who are third in the Premier League with seven games to play.
His short-lived appearance at the Johan Cruyff Arena was just his third in an England shirt.
