Andreas Ivanschitz is set to join Bundesliga side Mainz from Greek outfit Panathinaikos.
The Austria midfielder is poised to ink a three-year contract at Stadion am Bruchweg worth €1.5 million (£1.3m).
Ivanschitz arrived at Panathinaikos in 2006 after playing for Rapid Vienna and Salzburg, but failed to feature last season.
In three years the 25-year-old has played 50 league games.
