Frontman relishing underdog role in South Africa

Slovakia striker Stanislav Sestak believes having no pressure will benefit his side during the World Cup. Slovakia are in the competition for the first time as an independent nation and will be hoping to spring a surprise in South Africa. They have been drawn in Group F alongside world champions Italy as well as Paraguay and New Zealand. Sestak says there is no weight of expectation on his team's shoulders, and he thinks this can only benefit them. He told www.bundesliga.de: "We have nothing to lose. The fact we are participating is already a big achievement, so now we can play freely. "However, our main goal is to get through the group stage. We want to reach the second round. "Italy are obviously the big favourites to win the group, but the game against Paraguay will be close and we reckon we can beat New Zealand too." Slovakia's opening game is against New Zealand in Rustenburg and the Bochum forward will be looking to get on the scoresheet when they face the All Whites.
