Deportivo La Coruna's Aythami has hailed the club's win over Levante at the weekend.
Deportivo claimed a 2-1 win over Levante, which is their first victory away from La Riazor for almost 12 months.
And the central defender, who scored the winner on Sunday, feels a weight has been lifted off the squad after two successive wins which have taken them out of the bottom three.
"We have taken a weight off, because we had not won, but we put in a serious effort and we got it," he said.
"We struggled at times [against Levante] but that is fine as we were playing at the home of a relegation rival. The whole team made a real performance.
"The team was very serious and this is the line that we must continue in the future.
"We have always relied on our chances and now we are out of decline."
Another boost at the weekend for Deportivo was the return to action of Brazilian midfielder Juca.
He has been sidelined for a month with a hamstring injury, but he came off the bench in the win over Levante.
