Serie A club to sign Yebda permanently and hope to keep Hamsik

Napoli hope to bring in a number of new faces this summer and are also confident that Marek Hamsik will remain at the club. Slovakian playmaker Hamsik has been strongly linked with a move to AC Milan during the transfer window despite only signing a new long-term contract in September. Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon, however, does not believe he will be going anywhere. He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I know Marek well. We have a splendid relationship. "He is an exemplary professional and he knows what the club wants just as we know what he wants. "I don't think there will be any problems. He has already shown his strong bond to this club and he is happy at Napoli."

Four other players

As well as keeping hold of Hamsik, Napoli are searching for reinforcements after finishing third in Serie A to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League. They have made no secret of their interest in Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler but are looking to strengthen in other key departments and have identified River Plate youngster Erik Lamela as one possible option. Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has also revealed that former Portsmouth midfielder Hassan Yebda is to sign a permanent deal after spending this season on loan from Benfica. "We can't think only about Gokhan Inler," said De Laurentiis. "We need four other players. "We're all chasing Lamela who is only 19 years old, because even young players can be important. "I'm looking for another striker (able to score) double figures in goals as well as (Edinson) Cavani, but we are at an early stage. "And Yebda has been signed permanently."
