Argentine defender pens three-year deal with Serie A outfit
Serie A outfit Palermo have completed the signing of Mauro Cetto from Toulouse on a free transfer.
The Argentine defender saw his contract in France expire at the end of last season, opening the door for a summer exit.
Following a decade of service in Ligue 1, with Nantes and Toulouse, he has opted to try his luck in Italy and has penned a three-year contract with his new employers.
"I wanted a new experience and I have always dreamed of playing in one of the toughest leagues in the world, like the Italian one," Cetto told www.ilpalermocalcio.it.
"To do this I've chosen a big club like Palermo, a team which in recent years has done great things.
"I enjoyed my time with Toulouse but I needed new challenges and a club with big ambitions. Because of this, I immediately said yes to Palermo and I turned down other offers I received.
"I am sure I will do very well here and I can't wait to hit new heights with my new team."
