The agent of Serbia international Adem Ljajic insists his client will remain at Roma next season despite speculation over his future.

Roma signed Argentina winger Juan Manuel Iturbe from Hellas Verona on Wednesday, increasing speculation that Ljajic could leave the Giallorossi outfit this summer.

Ljajic, a 22-year-old forward, is a reported target of AC Milan, Liverpool, Manchester United and Schalke.

"I can assure everyone that Ljajic will remain at Roma," Ljajic's agent Fali Ramadani said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "There is no intention from the player to leave the club.

"I have said it for sometime and I continue to say it.

"The rumours that he will leave have absolutely no foundation.

"We have received offers for him but we have not taken them into consideration."

Ljajic moved to Roma last summer from Fiorentina for 11million euros (£8.7m). He started 17 league games and scored six goals as Roma finished runners-up in Serie A in the 2013-14 campaign.

Ljajic, who came close to moving to Manchester United in January 2010 before the deal fell through due to work permit issues, is under contract with the Italian outfit for a further three seasons.
