Out-of-favour midfielder Fraser Fyvie has had his Wigan Athletic contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 21-year-old midfielder made just 11 appearances since joining from Aberdeen in July 2012.
Fyvie, who was capped by Scotland at various levels from under-15 to under-21, played just one league game during his time at the DW Stadium, with the rest of his outings coming in cup competitions.
He had two brief loan outings with Yeovil and Shrewsbury last season, and his appearance in the Capital One Cup loss to Burton was his only one for the Latics this term.
Prior to his move south, Fyvie made 66 appearances for Aberdeen as a teenager.
