Bradley Wright-Phillips missed two penalties in one game on Saturday night

Bradley Wright-Phillips became the first player in MLS history to miss two penalties in one game, as New York Red Bulls lost 2-1 to Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Englishman scored 27 goals in the Major League Soccer regular season in 2014, making him the joint highest single-season goalscorer in league history.

After getting off to a great start to this season with five goals in his first nine matches, he is now goalless in his last five.

Watch the video above to see the Englishman have both his attempts saved by Vancouver's goalkeeper David Ousted.
