Toulouse have signed goalkeeper Mauro Goicoechea from Portuguese side Arouca.
The former Uruguay Under-21 international, now 27, will compete for playing time with regular starter Ali Ahamada as he inherits the role vacated by Zacharie Boucher's departure to Auxerre.
"I am very happy to have this opportunity to play for a club like this and I will do my best to be a success," he told the club's official website.
"I don't know much about Ligue 1. It is always a new challenge to play in a new country.
"The language and the style of play are always different, but it is a good challenge for me."
