Colchester have signed Charlton winger Callum Harriott on a loan deal until January 2.
The 21-year-old trained with his new team-mates on Friday morning and will be available for Saturday's game at home against Scunthorpe subject to paperwork clearance.
"Colchester United have bolstered their squad ahead of the weekend game against Scunthorpe United, with the addition of exciting winger Callum Harriott from Charlton Athletic," a statement on the League One club's website read.
Harriott, who has scored nine goals in 76 appearances for Charlton, has made just one start for the Addicks so far this campaign.
