Gareth Bale has been left out of the Wales squad for this month's friendly against the Netherlands.
Neither Bale nor Aaron Ramsey is included in a 23-man group named by Chris Coleman for the November 13 game in Cardiff.
Coleman came in for criticism for playing both his stars in last month's European Qualifier against Andorra when a place at next summer's finals was already assured.
Ramsey subsequently suffered a hamstring injury and had already been ruled out until after the international break by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who said the midfielder should have been rested for the Andorra game.
Bale has missed Real Madrid's past four games with a calf problem, although Rafa Benitez said after Tuesday's win over Paris Saint-Germain that the world's most expensive player is "close to a return".
Reading forward Hal Robson-Kanu and Fulham defender Jazz Richards are also omitted, and Coleman has called up Newcastle defender Paul Dummett and Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw.
