Jose Antonio Reyes is set to leave his hometown club Sevilla for a second time, the La Liga outfit announced on Wednesday.

Reports from Spain suggest the Seville-born Reyes, who was a member of the 2006 World Cup squad and who is best known in Britain for a spell at Arsenal, will be joining Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

The 32-year-old Reyes spent seven seasons over two spells at Sevilla, playing 253 times for them and winning the last three Europa League titles, a trophy he also won twice with Atletico Madrid.

"Jose Antonio Reyes is leaving Sevilla, putting an end to his second spell here, a most collectively successful one," a club statement said.

"In his two spells, he has been an icon for Sevilla. He has always excelled thanks to his extreme quality and commitment to the club of his life.

"He has been one of the great emblems of the club, if not the greatest."
