Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says new signing Gabriel Jesus is available for immediate selection.
The 19-year-old completed his £27m move from Brazilian side Palmeiras on Thursday and Guardiola will be hoping he can add some impetus to his side's flagging season.
City were beaten 4-0 by Everton in their last Premier League match and they will be keen to bounce straight back when they play Tottenham at the Etihad on Saturday.
"He is fit and ready to be involved in the squad and the team," Guardiola said of Jesus.
"He is a young player so we cannot think he will solve all our problems but he is going to help us.
"It would have been easier if he could have arrived in the beginning of the season - but he is smart and he has quality."
Guardiola was also asked about the performance of Claudio Bravo in the defeat at Everton but he was keen to deflect the attention away from his goalkeeper.
"The position is not only about the goalkeeper, it's not about that. We missed the chances we had and conceded a few," he added.
"We accept it. It's our job, manager's job, players' job - we accept it. We must play better and score the chances we had and concede fewer."
As for Saturday's opponents, Guardiola was quick to praise the progress made by Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino.
"[Spurs are] brilliant. Strong physically, good build up, quality between the lines. It's a good team - they play attractive football," he said.
