On the latest La Liga Weekly podcast, Jon Driscoll and Terry Gibson discuss all the big talking points from the past week, including Zinedine Zidane's defence of Karim Benzema.
Benzema has come in for criticism after only scoring one La Liga goal this season.
But head coach Zidane branded the striker's critics "a disgrace" before Real's 3-0 win over Eibar on Sunday, adding: "I'm annoyed by criticism of Karim because, for someone who understands football, it is a disgrace. For me he is the best, by far.
"We cannot stop people from speaking badly of him, everyone can say what they want. But from my point of view I don't think a striker has to only score goals."
Driscoll and Gibson reflect on Zidane's comments as well as all the weekend's La Liga action and Valencia's impressive start to the season.
