Former Man Utd keeper joins old team-mate in Denmark

Goalkeeper Roy Carroll has joined Danish outfit Odense BK from Derby County on a three-year deal. The Northern Ireland international was not in Nigel Clough's plans at Pride Park and has decided to take his chance outside of Britain with one of Denmark's biggest clubs. OB finished runners-up in the Danish Superliga last term and also have Carroll's former Manchester United teammate Eric Djemba-Djemba in their ranks. Carroll, 31, is looking forward to testing his abilities abroad in this late stage of his career and is glad to be back in top-flight football. "I look forward to playing football on the highest level again," he told the club's official website. "Last season, I saw several Danish clubs against Manchester City, therefore I know it's a tough league, but I am ready to do my best."
