Ipswich boss unhappy with start to season

Roy Keane has admitted there are one or two members of his Ipswich squad who will never play for him again. Ipswich have made a miserable start to the Championship season and are currently in the bottom three after picking up just one point from four games. They produced another disappointing display in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to West Brom, prompting Keane to say that he would be looking to bring in new players. And he is also ready to axe some of the personnel who have failed to deliver since he took charge at Portman Road towards the end of last season. "There are one or two who played at the weekend who will never play for me again," Keane said in the Daily Mail.

Enough is enough

"Eventually you have to make a decision and I don't like what I have been seeing. This is not just based on Saturday but on the end of last season and pre-season as well. "You can't keep waiting and you have to say enough is enough. It's not personal - it is just time to move on. "You can't keep doing the same things every week and not get a result." Gareth McAuley was left out of the starting XI against the Baggies but Keane has dismissed suggestions of a bust-up with his captain. He explained: "I like Gareth and he was probably a bit unlucky to be on the bench on Saturday."
