Hughes could be without Samba star for Gunners clash

Manchester City are sweating on the fitness of star striker Robinho ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal. The Brazil ace injured his thigh in Saturday's famous 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over arch-rivals Argentina. Brazil have confirmed the 25-year-old will sit out their game against Chile on Wednesday having already qualified for next summer's finals. Robinho has featured in all but one of City's matches so far this campaign and would be a strong contender to start against Arsene Wenger's side if fit. The striker, who has stayed in South America to receive treatment, is due to return to Manchester following their clash with Chile. "Robinho is out of the game but will stay with us," Brazil's press officer Rodrigo Paiva confirmed. City's medical staff will assess Robinho's injury upon his return to Eastlands before Mark Hughes decides whether he will feature on Saturday.
