Brazilian striker keen to put transfer talk to one side

Luis Fabiano insists he wants to leave a summer of speculation surrounding his future in the past. The Sevilla striker is hoping that he will now be able to focus his full attention on scoring goals in the Spanish top flight. The Brazil international, who has been in fine form for his country during the recent World Cup qualifiers, was strongly linked with a move during the transfer window. AC Milan were reported to be leading the race for his signature, but they were unable to strike an accord with Sevilla. Fabiano claims he has no issue with remaining in the Primera Liga and hopes he will now be given the freedom to get on with his job. "I want to make things clear because I am only thinking about scoring goals for Sevilla," he told Canal Sur Radio. "My desire is to play and score at Sevilla in the same way as I do for Brazil. That's the truth; all I think about is Sevilla. "I had already said before the transfer window closed that I was focused on Sevilla. I don't want to talk about transfers, I want to enjoy this moment and play against Zaragoza on Saturday."
